This 1,200 acre territory features dramatic scenery consisting of deep canyons and vast mesas. No power lines or towers interrupt the incredible skyline, as much of the land has never been disturbed by humans. The true outdoorsman or the misplaced mountain-man can experience genuine frontier adventures throughout the seemingly endless lands of the ranch.

The property, just miles from the Black Mesa Park as well as Lake Etling, stretches throughout Baca County, Colorado and Cimarron County, Oklahoma. The Santa Fe Trail surrounds the ranch with a northern route in Colorado and a southern route flanking the Oklahoma property.

Natural ground cover, trees, and creeks weaving through the mesas and ravines. The diverse terrain provides excellent shelter for wild game including White Tail and Mule deer, Merriam Turkey, antelope and quail. Guests may catch sight of Big Horn sheep, deer, elk and other wildlife just a quarter of a mile from the lodge.
